Alexander's Crystal Island Cruise Ship terminal complex will serve as the resort's transportation hub. This map highlights the proposed layout including the people mover route. Although its primary purpose is to facilitate the cruise ships and get resort guests to their final destinations, the terminal will also promote resort attractions and entertain in unexpected ways.

The exotic lighthouse icon sits atop this mammoth structure foreshadowing the wonders to come. As if it rose from the island itself, trees, waterfalls and caverns adorn the building. From the moment guests disembark their ships they'll be engulfed in the luxury and fantasy paradise of this massive attraction. The mystical gardens can be explored from the top floor where guests may discover aspects of the Crystal island story, or they might even find clues to enable discounts at various food and merchandise locations throughout the resort.

The bottom floors reveal the caverns and underwater origins of the terminal. As the building ascended it brought a collection of lost ships and other treasures to be found throughout. There will be banks of ticket kiosks to enable the purchase of theme park and other admission media. Upon boarding the people mover guests will be treated to a very unusual ride experience while being transported to their destination.

It will start out normal enough; first stop Resort water taxi station where guests can board transportation to resort attractions and hotels such as AQUARIUS, SANDCASTLE or the amazing MYSTICAL DELUGE WATERPARK. Along the way, on-board monitors will play resort news. The stories should prove to be both bizarre and side-splitting funny. We might see a report about the monkees that escaped from the Crystal District Million Dollar Obstacle Course, or the attempted arrest of the Goblin from Mythical Encounters for theft of magic harp, or maybe we'll see Davy Crockett get fined for feeding a bear from the MYTHS & LEGENDS REALM. The "Resort Today" show will change daily and will serve two purposes: to entertain and advertise resort venues.

The next stop is the main entrance. Here guests can connect to land taxis, buses and visit the shopping and nighttime entertainment district. The last stop is the Crystal Island theme park water taxi dock. On the way, the tram takes a turn toward the bizarre giving passengers a taste of the Crystal Island experience. Gradually the terminal's chairs, tables, plants and even people begin to appear upside down while fading in and out. Characters from the many stories featured in Crystal Island make appearances adding to the humor. Before the final stop the tram will pass through outer space, make a stop at a gas station and glide through an underwater scene.
