Bahamas

The Bahamas is a country which is contrary to popular opinion. This Caribbean country consists of 700 islands and cays stretching off the Florida coast. These islands are the most popular Caribbean tourist destination in the world and this may be attributed to their perfect location being less than 100 miles off the coast of Florida. The Bahamas are also known to have the perfect climate and surroundings where the average temperature is just over 75 degrees. The crystal clear turquoise blue water and pearly white powder beaches are unparalleled to any in the world.

Though many of the islands boast of beautiful surroundings and climate, the islands differ in terms of their physical geography. Some islands exhibit certain characteristics which are not evident in others. Limestone caves, pine forests, white sandy beaches, lush plantations, bonefishing flats and the world's third largest barrier reef can all be experienced in the Bahamas. All of these give each island its own individual character and personality.

The islands of the Bahamas are very unique in that each of the 700 islands retains its own individual character. Each island has something to offer to every ideal vacation.
